WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES

The financial support we receive helps us make critical day-to-day services available to those who desperately need our help.  Support subsidizes treatment for those who cannot afford to pay, helps provide mental health services, and provides the basic everyday things many of us take for granted—a toothbrush, soap, even diapers.

Your donation can go to where the need is greatest or in support of any of these initiatives:

  • Subsidized/Scholarship Treatment – A significant number of the people we serve earn too much to qualify for Medicaid and too little to afford insurance or to pay for treatment on their own. Funding makes it possible for these individuals to have the chance to enjoy recovery for life.
  • Recovery Employment Program (REP) – Men are given the opportunity to work on various projects within the facility and are paid a stipend. This gives them important work experience that will help them transition to employment and offers them funds that can be used to secure housing once they leave the program.
  • Mental Health Services and Support – Evaluations and medication management by a psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) are critical in helping an individual with mental illness begin to stabilize and address their drug addiction and improve their chances of successfully completing treatment.
  • Essentials – Many individuals in our inpatient programs come from the streets, shelters and incarceration. Basic things are needed such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, hygiene supplies and children’s items including diapers and formula. Sheets, towels, pillows and medical supplies also have to be provided.
