Let Liberation Programs help you achieve your health and self-sufficiency goals!
If you think you or a loved one may have a substance use problem, or are experiencing an obstacle that is preventing you from seeking treatment such as a mental health disorder, poor heath, or pregnancy, please contact Cary Ostrow, MS, LMFT, Chief Program Officer, at cary.ostrow@liberationprograms.org to learn how we can help. Certified counselors, registered nurses, marriage and family therapists, and physicians who specialize in addiction and mental health medicine are on hand to tailor multi-dimensional treatment plans to a person’s specific needs. The Liberation Team receives training on the latest medical research and the best care practices. Coupling our intimate knowledge of substance use disorders with a sincere empathy for those compromised by the disease is our recipe for a successful recovery. Core Service ProgramsFamilies in Recovery A ten family live-in facility which allows pregnant and parenting women to care for their children while they receive treatment. This program ensures that a mom-to-be has prenatal care for the duration of her pregnancy, and that mom and child receive adequate health and social support services. Family & Youth Options At one of our private offices, teens are guided to overcome their substance use issue. Talking to counselors about peer pressure, teens learn invaluable lessons like how courage is gained by not following the crowd. Our prevention component is administered at schools and at various community groups. Parent support, including father’s forums, is essential to steering youth away from experimenting with drugs and alcohol. HIV/AIDS Support Services Counselors foster healing in individuals living with HIV/AIDS and their families. Our goal is to help them achieve and maintain good health, reconnect with their families, and re-integrate back into society. Liberation House In a residential setting, men learn how to live independently and to stay sober while enhancing their vocational and literacy skills, and working towards mending relationships with family. Volunteerism is a big part of the Liberation House program. Older Adult Services In a private and reassuring setting, counselors help older adults constructively address problematic use of substances including alcohol and prescription medications. Outpatient Care Utilizing a variety of counseling and case management options, clients benefit from their care program which includes vocational skills development, psychological evaluation and medication assistance.
