The State of Connecticut ranks among our country’s highest for individuals, including children as young as twelve, who are in need substance use treatment.

Liberation Programs' mission is to empower people and their families to be free of the disease of addiction by providing targeted solutions that restore lives and strengthen our community.

Stategic Direction

Liberation Programs seeks to meet our mission boldly by investing in stronger infrastructure and enhanced core program services aimed at improving client outcomes and position the agency for long term success.  Our strategies to achieve our mission include the following steps:

          1) Increase private funding to strengthen core program services
          2) Provide timely integrated care through partnerships aimed at improving recovery results
          3) Enhance core treatment services to ensure the highest quality care to our clients
          4) Invest in the Agency's infrastructure to meet current critical needs and expected business challenges

Our Vision

We envision a community that fully recognizes substance abuse as a treatable chronic medical condition, and understands the importance of providing its citizens with tools that ensure lasting recovery. Access to high-quality care, regardless of a person’s financial or social status, is key to building a strong community. That is why we are working hard to leverage the necessary resources to integrate substance abuse prevention, and treatment into Fairfield County’s healthcare system.
